I’m Dmytro, founder of ProGrade Plumbing & Heating. I came to the United States from Ukraine in 2005 and went straight into plumbing.
I learned the trade in the field, working with established companies on residential and commercial projects across New York and New Jersey.
My background includes high-end Manhattan renovations, high-rise buildings, and numerous restaurant projects. One of the most notable was Zuma restaurant in Manhattan, where I served as plumbing foreman. The restaurant spans two full floors in the heart of the city. I personally planned the piping routes, led the plumbing crew, and still remember that system pipe by pipe.
I’ve spent years handling difficult service calls and emergencies—finding problems, making decisions under pressure, and getting repairs done while keeping damage to a minimum. I’ve also trained plumbers who became skilled mechanics. Knowing the work and being able to teach it have both shaped how I lead a crew.
After moving to New Jersey, I started ProGrade to run projects under my own name and set the standard for the work. Today, my team and I serve residential and commercial customers throughout New Jersey and New York, from service and renovations to commercial kitchens, boiler rooms, heating, hot water, and snow-melting systems.
I know the work because I’ve done the work. That experience is what I bring to every ProGrade project.
